Edward Behan

IT Director

Edward joined Adam Phones in 1996 with responsibilities for managing IT and assisting with the development of bespoke company systems.

A Computer Science graduate of the University of Leeds and Member of the British Computer Society, Edward formalised the IT architecture, processes and policies of the company, beginning with the design and deployment of the technical migration strategies required following the award of Service Provision licences to Adam Phones from Vodafone in 1999 and BTCellnet (now O2) in 2001.

As chief architect of the company’s billing and reporting platforms, Edward constantly works alongside senior decision-makers, IT divisions, mobile network suppliers and technology partners to identify and solve specific client challenges for commercial and public-sector voice and data mobile estates ranging in size from single-digit to many thousands of lines.

The company’s history and commitment to ongoing significant investment in IT has enabled Edward to build an enterprise-level infrastructure and a team highly skilled in creating scalable solutions designed to seamlessly integrate with existing customer systems and deliver immediate cost and process efficiencies.

“Our long-term policy of IT investment and expansion has meant that we regularly design and build a range of bespoke technical solutions of the scope only expected from larger organisations, but with the superior levels of care, flexibility and personal commitment we offer our customers as a smaller provider.”.

Edward is also a shareholder and Board Director, playing an integral role in driving forward the company’s corporate strategies that provide the continued growth and success of Adam Phones.
