James Howlison

Financial Director

James joined Adam Phones in 2005, taking a place on the Board within 3 months of his engagement.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1991 James gained a wide range of experience with large corporate organisations.  He worked for P&O Ferries for 11 years where he held various senior management roles with responsibility for management reporting and analysis, change process management, systems implementation, financial accounting and control, and transaction processing.

His experience of managing a finance division within a larger enterprise has enabled him to establish a series of processes and systems which optimise efficiency and provide regular and detailed management information. James is supported by a bright and experienced finance team, and as the company continues to grow and the volume of transactions increases they are well positioned to react to the increasing demands placed upon them.
